‘In a world still cloaked in gender stereotyping, the need to empower young women to envision a life of limitless possibilities is critical. Research led by a professor at Australian Catholic University reveals that by the early years of primary school, gender stereotypes have already influenced children, often leading them to aspire to “traditional” female and male jobs. We must therefore invest in our young women ensuring they have the support and opportunities to shape their futures. We must encourage them to be unstoppable.’
