Colour and Creativity with Alex McCabe founder of Kip and Co

You are warmly invited to this Strathcona Centre Learning Futures event: Colour and Creativity with Alex McCabe founder of Kip and Co.

Alex McCabe is the Co-Founder and Creative Director of Kip&Co, an independent, female-founded and carbon neutral company that creates beautiful, colourful homewares and apparel for every corner of the house and every member of the family. Now in its tenth year, Kip&Co is a multi-million dollar business, with more than 300 stockists, over [800] types of products and a social community of over 500,000 people. Alex began her working life as a corporate lawyer, practising in both Australia and London before returning home and taking on a new career in media, corporate communications and branding at some of Australia’s largest ASX listed companies.

It was then that Alex and her two friends, Kate and Hayley came up with the idea for Kip&Co – a chance for them to be their own bosses, and do something truly creative. Alex’s top priority is her two wild and wonderful girls, Quincy and Pearl, whom she is raising with her partner in crime, Bobby, on a vineyard on the Mornington Peninsula – just around the corner from where she grew up, as it so happens.

Alex loves good food, art and music, enjoyed with good friends and family. She does not enjoy quiet time.
